Class Christmas Party

William enjoyed his first class Christmas party today. The kids decorated gingerbread houses, made Christmas necklaces, read Christmas stories, played bean bag toss into Santa's hat, and then had special treats for lunch. I was thankful that I was able to come and see William and his friends in their element. He has such a wonderful teacher, who has a very demanding job. Of course, there was one child who had a major melt-down during lunch and it was a harsh reminder that those are the kinds of things her days are filled with! We are so thankful for Mrs. Hatchett and all of her hard work and love for our kids!

The other moms and I worked on getting things set while the kids were playing.

Gingerbread houses! Well, graham cracker houses, to be specific...

The necklace table. Some kids were really good at beading!

William worked hard on his masterpiece!

Putting on his necklance and loving his triple chocolate cupcake!

Giving his teacher her present

Couldn't get a good picture of him looking at the camera, but he gave her a real good hug and that's the most important part!
