So the kids called us out to the back fence last week, saying they found a turtle. They were really excited about it and surprisingly, weren't afraid of it! It stuck around the yard for a few days, digging a spot under the porch. Each day it became less afraid and even came up onto the porch. It probably would have walked through the back door if we had left it open! We finally opened up the fence to let it out, because it was driving the poor dog crazy. I'm glad it stayed away from the road and funnily enough, made its new burrow in the front yard! :)
